FELIPE “PIO” NERI ALVAREZ – CREW CHIEF

Felipe, affectionately known as Pio, was born in La Paz and developed a passion for off-road racing from an incredibly young age. Growing up in a racing family, with his father being an off-road motorcycle racer, Pio was immersed in the Baja 1000 and other off-road events from childhood. His deep knowledge of the sport allows him to recall not just the cars that have raced in Baja 1000 history, but also drivers, anecdotes, and countless other details.

Driven by his passion, Pio pursued a career in mechanics, working with several top teams. He served as Crew Chief for FRADISA and worked as a lead mechanic for Gastellum Motorsports and Paularena Motorsports before taking on the Crew Chief role at ATRacing. Since 2011, he has been Andrea’s co-driver, demonstrating quick thinking and determination in every race.

A skilled mechanic with an infectious smile, Pio is an integral part of the No Limit crew. Beyond co-driving, he is also a talented racer, having competed in Class 8, Class 1, and the ultimate Trophy Truck class.
